Membership Information

Ottawa Independent Writers encourages all members of the community to join us, including those who have yet to have their works published. Even if you have no desire to have your work published, we heartily welcome lovers of the written word. Our membership represents a wide spectrum of the writing world, from writers of historic documentaries and technical manuals to fiction and fantasy. In addition, we welcome graphic designers, illustrators, printers, publishers, poets and performers of the spoken word. We feel that all these endeavours share common interests and can profit from a common network. If you got this far, there’s room for you in OIW.
